Art is more important than it seems. Since prehistory, it has always been and it is an essential element in the development and evolution of the human being.

Although it is not generally believed, art has a very importance in the education of children. Not only estimulates the learning of other subjects but also it helps the development of personallity, tastes and confidence, among other important things of live.

To begin with, art activities in school are bound to be, in one way or another. They are many ways of introducing art in children activities, it has not to be art like adults perceive, it is easier.

One thing should be the simple fact of drawing. All children draw, at all hours, even in school they use it as a way to teach them anything. Nevertheless more art could be introduced by adding some new tecniques or by using some new material. Leaving the children to create by themselves, not telling them to draw something preestablished however giving them some material and telling to use it in a drawing and see what it happens. The main reason for this is that in this way, creativity is developed.

Additionally, museum visits could be a great manner as well. Despite sometimes children get bored, it is thought that is one of the best ways to transmite them the importance of art.

To summarize, art would help children in many facts of life. It is believed that activities such as drawing or visiting art museums could be one of the best ways to introduce art in their lives and transmit them its importance.
